  Membership

The PVFD currently has approximately 65 members. The volunteers supplement the career staff during the day and provide all of the fire protection during the night. These volunteers save the community an estimated five million dollars per year in operational expenditures, which keeps the local tax rates lower.

The Pearland Volunteer Fire Department is always recruiting individuals who have a commitment to the community and can contribute the necessary time to become a professional-class firefighter with our department.
